Squat Workout at Home - Exercise & Video

One way to strengthen leg muscles is squat workout. Squat can strengthens your thigh, hamstring and ankle muscles. Squat workout are generally done at the gym. Yep, the fitness center has very complete equipment to support your squat training.

Starting from the heavy weight you can set for yourself. Includes a squat machine that you can use as a 'tool' squat. But what if you don't have time to go to the gym? What if you want to train your leg muscles at home, but you don't have complete equipment at the gym?

Of course you can still do SQUAT workout. You need to know, squats are a fairly simple exercise to train the leg muscles, which you can do anywhere. That is, even at home you can do squat movements.

Squat can be done without a tool (free weight) or using additional loads such as dumbbells / barbells. If you have a dumbbell at home, you can use it as an additional tool to train your leg muscles.

In the first video, squat exercises at home can be done without weight (free weight). This movement is done by squatting-standing, and the position of your back must remain straight, to keep your posture upright.You can do this squat exercise 15-20 reps with 3-5 sets. 

This exercise is quite easy for you to apply at home. For more weighted squat exercises, you can use additional weight like dumbbells. Pay attention to the squat exercises in my video below:


You can add dumbbells for more challenging exercises. In the example above, I use a 5 kg dumbbell. You can add your own weight, according to your ability. If you don't have a dumbbell, you can use a bottle filled with sand or water as a weight. You can do this squat workout 2-3 times a week.

That is an example of a home leg muscle training guide that you can apply, namely squat training. Without going to the gym, you can apply a healthy lifestyle. In other posts, later I will provide other tutorials that you can apply to shape your body's muscles to be more ideal.
