How to Do Dumbbell Preacher Curl at Home

There are many training methods to train your bicep muscles. One of the effective and fast muscle building methods for bicep muscle is the preacher curl bicep movement. Why is it said to effectively form bicep muscles?

Preacher curl is a training movement that is included in the isolation movement in training. This means that this isolation movement is a movement that is more focused on forming one particular type of muscle. So this preacher curl only focuses on forming bicep muscles. Shoulder muscles, triceps and others don't work in this exercise. Also read: Workout Tutorial: Compound and Isolation Exercises

Peracher curl is a workout that you can use using a preacher curl machine or dumbbell. Here's an example of a preacher curl movement in the gym.

In preacher curl, your body position can stand or sit. Then your elbows and arms must be attached to the bearing of the preacher curl tool. Then, your hand is holding a dumbbell or machine, and your bicep movement. Do this 12 repetitions in 3-4 sets. Then you can increase the load for pre-curl training.

This movement is very good and effective in forming bicep muscles. If you're training your bicep muscles, don't forget the preacher curl exercise menu in bicep exercises. Well, if you often go to youtube about the bodybuilder bicep exercise menu, then the preacher curl is included in the main menu of their training.

This movement is not difficult to do. Well, what if you don't have time to go to fitness? What if all this time you only have your own gym training at home / gym? Can this preacher curl exercise be done at home if you don't have the equipment like at the gym? Can.

If you want to practice at home, you only need dumbbells and chairs. The seat here is the requirement that you have a chair with enough space on the back of the chair to place your elbows and arms. This way, you can do the preacher curl movement perfectly.

For example, look at my video that I made for the preacher curl dumbbell movement tutorial at home.
